WE Consensus

 

 

 

WE has worked to build our plan into a cookie-cutter design that works on any size parcel (we prefer at least 200 acres), as long as the zoning and price are within reason. Some of our locations might be just a Gaian Temple with gardens or it might just not have residential based upon the communities land zoning  The whole plan is set on sliding percentages that are set based on WE's set Path. the community needs & consensus. A set percentage is then figured to cover each expense based on categories.

 

Consensus-Based Communities are easier to live and work in. Votes are based on different levels of membership that are based on seniority, depth of participation, and the number of shares.

 

Elder status gets you 5 votes Per Share and the management tasks.

Pioneer status gets you 3 votes per share.

Villager status gets you 1 vote per share.

Wanderer shares have no votes.

 

Elder status is awarded based on seniority and only kept based on consensus.

 

Membership Is based on Consensus only.  Be nice and nobody gets voted out. Only those with equal or higher seniority can vote others out.

 

Consensus Meetings are held monthly on the 15th. Attendance is only mandatory for Elders and those specific to motions. If you are not up to date with your dues payments, you may not attend. 

 

By consensus, anyone can make a rule. Just request a motion to any Elder by the 15th of the month. Then at the meeting make sure to have someone in support, that's ready to 2nd it. Then, once 2nded, it's put in the next month's meeting to be voted on.

 

During this month-long lapse, you can earn additional "Brownie" votes, based on your depth of participation.  WE encourages members to conduct research into that subject, to help ensure that when it comes time for us to vote, we can then make a more informed decision, on the particular subject for the motion of yours that has been brought forth and 2nded, thanks to your research. You also will have then earned what we have labeled "Brownie votes" that can only be used on voting for that cause.
